CITYPASTORS

CityPastors developed from a group of Pastors who began meeting together in 2006 with the intention of being better Pastors through meaningful, difference-making relationships.

Our Mission

Our mission is to increase the effectiveness of Pastoral leadership through friendships that inspire, equip and strengthen each other as leaders.

Our Motivation

When we set out to plant Life Link Church back in 2006, we didn’t want to do it alone. We weren’t part of a denomination so we didn’t have that type of support system. We knew we’d be better as Pastors if we could do that in a relationship with other Pastors in our area. So we started getting together with a group of other Pastors and discovered they were interested in that, too. History shows that sense was right – we are definitely better together. – Dave and Cheree’ Wright

Better Together

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

What We Discovered

We discovered many Pastors feel the same way; we want to be in genuine relationships with other Pastors that can provide insight, perspective and coaching for the challenges we face. We also find it fulfilling to share what we’ve learned, then, with other Pastors growing through similar challenges.

Synergy Within Diversity

Even though CityPastors are all Bible-based and Christ-centered in faith, as a group we are a multi-cultural relational network with many of us coming from a variety of different backgrounds, cultures and denominational influences.

Our Vision For The Future

We truly believe that Pastors synergizing with each other is a key to seeing regions transformed for God’s glory.
